Hi. I'm an audio engineer, producer, and sound-designer living in Seattle, WA. Currently I'm working for WB Games Seattle / Monolith Productions as a Sound Designer and enjoy working with bands on their musical projects when I can. I enjoy working in many different styles and love the art of capturing sound.

Boy Wonder

Congrats to The Kindness Kind for getting their songs featured in the new movie Boy Wonder! I recorded and mixed both tracks that were used in the film. Check out the trailer HERE. The song you hear on the teaser is Timeless, which is also in the full movie along side I Pilot. Both songs are from the 2007 album A Novel.

In other news, keep an eye out as I'm planning on getting some sound design materials up soon!

New Site Up

Got the new website up and running thank to Irene Barber the web wizard. I'll slowly but surely getting it edited and updated.

GEMS / EARTH / BONOBO

Sup. Joel's in town Saturday and we're going to bust out some tracks. Sounds like it's going to be mainly guitar and vox with some percussion and other layers added. Gonna be KEWL.

Also, I've been show crazy lately. Tuesday I saw Gems at the Comet Tavern. Really rad. 4 dudes, 2 drum sets, 2 lil' fatties, 1 prophet 600. SWEET. Tomorrow night I go to see EARTH. And Sunday I go to see BONOBO. Bring em on.

Got some more bands/projects added to the lists below. Next month I'll be recording my friend Joel's solo project. He's flying in from Hawaii and is gonna chill in Seattle for a week or so. Should be fun!

EXOHXO - SEATTLE ROCK ORCHESTRA

I was just told that the videos from the Seattle Rock Orchestra performance a few months ago were posted on Youtube.com. There were two halfs to the show...first Exohxo, then a full cover of the Arcade Fire's Funeral album. Check them out: http://www.youtube.com/user/SeattleRockOrchestra.

I recorded and mixed the audio for the show with my portable Pro Tools rig. It was a challenge recording in the Fremont Abbey space, but I think it turned out pretty good! You can hear my mixes on the videos created by Rachel Hayes.

SQUARE WAVE TRACKS POSTED

Just got finished posting the Square Waves tracks that I played drums on this summer. It was a small recording project started by my friends Grant Fairbrother and Aaron Schallenberger. Recorded quickly in practice spaces and bedrooms on a cassette 8-track.
